Everyone wants to have a good time when they go camping, and one of the places you're sure to have a great time is Brighton RV Resort! This resort is located in Okeechobee, Florida, which is about an hour and a half south of Orlando. Don't let the name fool you, though; many people don't know that this RV resort isn't just for RVs. There are also cabins! The daily rates for Brighton start at $50 for RVs and $125 for cabins.Â
There's plenty to do on-site at the campground. Like most RV resorts, there's a large pool that's perfect for a day of relaxing underneath the Florida sun; we encourage you to lather up in sunscreen. Cook up some delicious grub at one of the barbecue stations scattered throughout the park. There are also an abundance of options just beyond the resort! Just five minutes up the road, you can visit the Seminole Brighton Casino. Take your chances playing bingo, blackjack, and poker. We also hear they serve fantastic food. If you're willing to travel a bit further, you can make a day of it visiting Disney World or Universal Studios.
Don't forget to include Fido in all of your fun, though! Brighton RV Resort is dog-friendly. The usual rules apply: Make sure your dog stays on their leash at all times, and remember to clean up any mess your pup makes. Currently, Brighton doesn't have a dog park, but according to their website, they're in the process of adding one to the grounds. This just goes to show that the resort's staff wants to be accommodating to our four-legged friends! Unfortunately, Brighton doesn't allow breeds that are deemed aggressive by the resort staff. If you have any questions about pet policies or breed restrictions, it's best to contact the resort beforehand.
Brighton RV Resort is a blast for the whole family, so look no further for the pawfect camping spot!
