Description

Caboose Lake Campground is a public campground located by the 20-acre Spring Fed Lake in Remington, Indiana. The charming campground offers RV camping, as well as cabin, caboose and yurt rentals. With tons of attractions nearby and numerous amenities on-site, the campground is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and fun activities. It is also easily accessible from highway I-65 and US Hwy 24, making it a great spot for overnight stays.

The campground has 115 full-service sites available for both short and long-term stays. Most of the sites are pull-through and offer 50 amp electric hookups. Although the majority of the sites are well-shaded thanks to the mature trees growing throughout the grounds, some are sunny with limited shade, so make sure to state your preference at arrival. Each site comes with its own picnic table, fire ring and some grassy space for patrons to enjoy. Pooches can relish basking in the sun while their owners toast some hot dogs over the fire. The campground is equipped with well-maintained restrooms (hot showers and flushing toilets included), laundry facilities, and a camp store. Sites start at 43$ per night and come with free wifi.

Since the campground sits around a large lake, most of the sites offer waterfront or lakeside views and easy lakeshore access. The sites are very spacious and offer enough room for patrons to get a sense of privacy, thus making this campground not only family and pet-friendly but also big rig friendly! The Spring Fed lake adds to the beauty of the campground, but it also offers opportunities for fishing, paddle boating, kayaking, and swimming. Enjoy the Summer Beach Family Fun Zone with water slides and water wars with your kids or sit back and relax on the beach with your canine companion or a good book. Lastly, the campground offers scheduled activities and additional amenities from March to October, such as bumper boats, water inflatables, and a dunk tank, to name a few -- so if you want to make the most out of your trip, be sure to visit during that time.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
