Description
Camel Lake Campground is located in Bristol, Florida. It sits within TheĀ Apalachicola, which is one of the most biodiverse areas in the entire world, so staying at this campsite gives you access to one of the most amazing places in the world. Because of this, the site can get quite crowded, especially on the weekends and during the summertime. The campground is surrounded by tall, longleaf pines, wiregrasses, bogs, a rare and spectacular pine savannahs region, and so much more - there is so much natural wonder to explore and see! Animal lovers will also enjoy the swamps and creeks where lots of little critters and creatures live. There are many scenic drives you can take within an hourĀ of the campsite as well

On the actual campgroundĀ itself, you will find a cool and shady area for tent camping, places for RV camping, picnic tables, picnic shelter, flushing toilets, drinking water, electricity, grills, and water hookups. Many of the campsites are waterfront as well, which makes for a really fun and relaxing camping experience. You will not have access to showers within this campground.Ā

Dogs are more than welcome to stay with you at the campground, but they must always wear their leash and never be left unattended when you are not around. You are expected to clean up after your dog and discard the poop bags properly in an effort to keep the site as clean, pretty, and sanitary as possible. Always remember to give your dog lots of fresh drinking water and a cool and comfortable place to sleep so they remain hydrated and do not overheat.Ā

Overall, Camel Lake Campground is a unique and truly amazing place to spend your time camping. From the abundance of wildlife, plants, and scenic views, you cannot go wrong with this fantastic campground.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
