Camp Gulf

Destin, Florida is known as the "World's Luckiest Fishing Village" and a visit here is sure to have your pack feeling hashtag blessed. There is no better way to experience this furrific town than with a stay at beautiful Camp Gulf, a luxury RV park and resort with near-perfect ratings on Good Sam. 

You won't find a campground around with a more exciting atmosphere than Camp Gulf, with their ever-changing schedule of fun activities, two huge heated swimming pools, and very own waterpark-style slide! The resort is built right on Miramar Beach, giving human guests close access to the white sand and astonishing blue waters of the Gulf. 

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on these beaches due to local ordinances, but your pooch can always play with other furry vacationers at nearby Destin Dog Park. The campground has several pet-friendly cottages, as well as pet-friendly RV sites, but the beach facing sites do not allow pups -- keep this in mind when reserving your stay. Remember to be courteous to other guests by keeping pups leashed and cleaned up after during your stay! 

RV sites range from $90 per night to $159 depending on location and season. The cottages and beach houses are fully furnished, air-conditioned, and no more than 800 steps from beautiful Miramar Beach. Cabins 1,2,3, and 12 are all pet-friendly, so be sure to ask for one of these if Fido is tagging along. Daily prices for cottages and beach houses range from $152 to $689 per night, but their quality and large capacity definitely make up for the high price tag. While you will surely find cheaper sites, you won't find any with better amenities! 

Camp Gulf is open all year, but reservations are hard to come by no matter the season. Prospective guests should make their reservations a few months in advance to guarantee their spot for their paw-fered dates. You don't wanna miss out on this fur-endly getaway!
