Description

Cape Cod's Maple Park Campground and RV Park is an ideal camping destination for dog owners, as there are perks for both you and your pooch to enjoy. Located in East Wareham, Massachusetts, this massive campground is comprised of more than 600 campsites on approximately 600 acres of land. This resort is situated among captivating woodlands, with access to water all around.

Day-use rates are not available, but campsites begin as low as $46.50 per night, depending on the type of accommodation you are seeking. Conveniently, this campground has a variety of choices when it comes to campsite location and type. Sites are available for RVs and pop-up campers. Full hookup services are available, with both 30 and 50 amps offered. There are also just water and electric sites, which are ideal for pop-up campers. Tent sites come with the option of being primitive, with no hookups, or modern with both water and electric. Some campsites are waterfront, and all sites come with a picnic table and fire pit or ring for guests to take advantage of.

If you're traveling with the kids, there are all sorts of ways to keep busy. Here, you will find sports activities including a baseball field, basketball court, and horseshoes. There's also a playground, bike trails, and hiking trails. Themed activities and events are continuously running throughout the season. The resort is stocked with modern amenities, including a coin-operated laundromat. There's also a store where you can grab groceries, firewood, and ice, and fill propane tanks. Barbecues can be rented by guests, and a dump station makes cleaning up at the end of your vacation easy.

The water is also full of opportunities, with boat rentals (kayaks and canoes) and other equipment rentals available for guests. A fishing lake is perfect for anglers looking to cast a line, and there are two swimming lakes as well. Do bring Fido when you visit because this campground is dog-friendly. Just be sure to clean up after your pooch and keep them on a leash at all times, aside from when at “Canine Cove,” the designated dog swimming area. Here, your pup can socialize and enjoy swimming off-leash.

Cape Cod's Maple Park Campground and RV Resort is no ordinary camping destination. Rather, this campground is bursting with opportunities to explore the water and delight in the scenic outdoors.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
