Fur-babies love the campground’s elaborate bark park, with fencing, obstacles, and a great view of the surrounding landscape. Human kids will have a ball on the deluxe jungle gym and tot-sized rock climbing area. But if that’s not enough, they can rent bikes and scooters for some off-road adventure. While the kids play, relax by the koi pond with a cup of joe, or catch some rays at the in-ground pool. The “pawssiblities” for fun are endless in this desert oasis!

When night falls, you can bet that the campground has an activity brewing, with everything from movies and snacks to stargazing and learning about telescopes. Crafty kiddos will have a blast with the arts and crafts groups — and, since the classes are supervised by campground staff, you can catch up on your reading or go for a swim! For nearby recreation, check out the Carlsbad Caverns or Sitting Bull Waterfall, both just a bone’s throw away. If you’re up for a drive, pop into the Roswell UFO Museum or visit White Sands National Monument.

The park accommodates big rigs and has 57 sites with full hookups for maximum comfort. The park has over 50 more sites dedicated to cabin and tent camping. If you’re the glamping type or just don’t have an RV, check out their deluxe cabins with a full kitchen, showers, baths, and super cozy beds! (Just call ahead to double-check whether the cabins are pet-friendly.) If you get hungry, hit the on-site snack bar or hold out until the nightly barbecue dinner for some smokey good grub!
