Situated right on the banks of the pretty Willamette River and surrounded by national forest, Casey's Riverside RV Park boasts an enviable location. And with pristine scenery, excellent fishing and hiking nearby, and more than 50 pet-friendly sites, it's got plenty to offer to traveling dog owners and their canine companions.
Having the river right on your doorstep is quite an attraction, so the sites overlooking the river are understandably the most popular. There's good fly fishing to be had in the river, while kayaking and rafting are also popular with visitors.
All sites in Casey's Riverside RV Park are paved and offer full hookups. Cable TV and WiFi are available at all sites and guests can access a seasonal swimming pool. There's usually a great amount of space between sites and most are quite level, but some spots on the river are a little uneven.
Bathrooms are kept clean, a clubhouse is available for reservation, and the park also has a pavilion with a big-screen TV. However, one downside is that the park is reasonably close to a train line, so you'll need to expect some freight train noise. That said, most visitors report that it's not a major annoyance.
If you're bringing your dog, rest assured that they're more than welcome in this park, and there's even a dog area provided. Just make sure that you clean up after your pet, keep them on a leash at all times, and never leave them unattended.
From May through October, nightly rates are $43 for a standard back-in site, $45 for a riverfront back-in site, and $47 for a riverfront pull-through site. From November 1 until April 30, all sites are $38 a night.
If you're looking for a peaceful park where you and your dog can relax by the river, Casey's Riverside RV Park is an excellent place to spend a night (or maybe longer).
