A 55+ RV resort community in Haines City, the Central Park RV Resort is a branch of the large RV resort conglomerate Sun RV Resorts. With lots of resort-style amenities on-site, you'll likely never want to leave -- but if you do, the convenient location makes this the perfect place to rest your head (or your pup's paws) while you bounce around exploring. 

Not only is there a heated pool and spa on-site, but there's also plenty of fun entertainment, like pickleball, shuffleboard, and horseshoes. Want to get social? Good! There are craft days, theater nights, and pancake suppers that you can enjoy. The RV sites can accommodate big rigs, feature full hookups (including 20, 30, and 50 amps, as well as water, and sewer), and even offer picnic tables and options for dirt sites, gravel sites, or shell sites! Nightly rates start at $38.

Your doggo can definitely stay at this RV park with you, but because there's no off-leash area, your little pup will have to remain on their leash at all times. Other than that, abide by regular doggo etiquette and you'll be good to go! Like many resorts in the Sunshine State, this one does have some breed restrictions -- call ahead to find out more information about the pet policy.

If you and your pooch do want to head out for the day to explore the area, you're just a short drive away from some of the most exciting theme parks in the country, like Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, and Legoland! Prefer to shop? There are great outlet malls, as well as famous malls like the Mall of Millenia in Orlando, in every direction. If you want to get your beach on with your pooch, take a short drive over to St. Petersburg, Florida to check out the dog-friendly Fort De Soto!
