Description

Not far from Minden in northern Louisiana is Cinnamon Creek RV Park, a furrific dog-friendly camping destination.

Like most campgrounds, Cinnamon Creek requires you to bring along a leash as your pup is to be on it at all times when outside of your camping unit. Dogs are expected to remain well-behaved throughout their visit, and owners are expected to tidy up after their companions in a timely manner. Be mindful of other guests when it comes to barking and noise, especially after quiet hour.

Both tent camping and RVs are permitted at Cinnamon Creek. RV sites come with pull-through and back-in options as well as all the amenities, including sewage, water, and electricity hookups. 20, 30 and 50 amp services are available, making it easy to accommodate all camping vehicles. Tent sites are primitive but offer guests and their pups an authentic and "ruff" outdoor experience. Most sites come with picnic tables and fire rings, so you can sit back and enjoy roasting marshmallows under the stars. Sites start at $36 a night.

Within the campground, you'll find a variety of amenities that add a modern touch to your stay. There's a large, pristine laundry room, making it possible for you to enjoy the convenience of packing light. There's also plenty of green space with lots of vegetation in the campground where you can walk your pup. The campground pavilion is available for guest use and is an ideal gathering place for family and friends. Cable and internet are another luxury for those who can’t go without their technology!

Cinnamon Creek’s prime location makes it easy for you to access the nearby attractions. Within ten miles, you’ll find opportunities for fishing, "pawfect" for anglers wanting to sit waterside with their pups. Enjoy a day at the lake or visit the nearby Bistineau State Park, where you'll find endless opportunities for recreation, including fishing, hiking, and swimming for a day fee of only $3. The state park is pup-friendly, but doggos must remain on-leash at all times. A few casinos are also located within short driving distance of the campground if you're feeling lucky.

When it comes to comfort, Cinnamon Creek RV Park has all the amenities you and your pup need for a "pawsitive" camping adventure in Louisiana's scenic outdoors!
