Within driving distance of the campground is a variety of historical "op-paw-tunities" such as visiting plantations, historical fort sites, historic homes, museums, and much more. This antiquated community has something for everyone to enjoy. Feel free to take your pooch off-site to see all that the area has to offer. Back at the campground, you can partake in a hike through the park with your pooch or, for anglers, cast a line in the lake.
As previously mentioned, you have the option of staying at one of two sister sites. Campground #1 is ideal for campers wanting to be in the woods, with forest views. This is the larger of the two campgrounds, with 41 RV sites and 25 tent sites. For entertainment, a games room can be found within campground #1. Campground #2 is similar to #1; however, it has waterfront sites on the lake. Both campgrounds give guests access to hot showers, flush toilets, and a restaurant. A barbecue and a picnic area are conveniently located within both sites as well. Tent sites begin at just over $27 per night and RV sites are $33.15, for those camping without the Good Sam discount.
Nakatosh Campground is a home away from home in a historical community bursting with opportunities for you and your pooch. Camp in the forest or along the lake and enjoy all the comforts of this campground, including modern amenities and economical rates.
