Description
Clear Lake Campground is located in the stunning mountains of Oregon in Mt. Hood National Forest. The usage and popularity of this campground are designated as heavy, so be prepared for there to be crowds and the potential for all of the campsites to be filled as there are only 28 single sites and four double sites.

The campground is right on Clear Lake and has an abundance of shade from trees. The sites are nestled within a conifer forest, so you will feel like you are getting an authentic camping experience. There are many different activities and attractions in the area. Warm Indian Springs Reservation, Pacific Crest Trail, Shellrock Creek, High Rock, and many other hiking trails are located in the region. Visitors generally enjoy boating, sailing, fishing, and swimming in Clear Lake when staying at the campground. In the wintertime when it snows, people love to come and cross country ski or ski down the mountains as well. Mushroom picking is also a fun and unique activity specific to this region that draws many visitors every year.

The campground itself has vault toilets, fresh drinking water access, campfire rings and grills in every campsite, trash collection, a parking area, boat ramp, picnic area, tables, and firewood vendor are available. Peak season runs from May to September every year. Dogs are more than welcome at the campsite, but they should wear their leash at all times to keep other people and dogs at the campground safe. Always pick up after your dog when they have done their business and discard properly. Fresh drinking water and a cool, shady place to sleep and relax will help keep your dog comfortable and safe from overheating in the summer months.

Overall, Clear Lake Campground is a scenic, activity-packed campground that is fun for the whole family, including Fido. We know that everyone will have a great time.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
