Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park

The Navajo sandstone from millennia past has eroded into heaps of beautiful coral-pink sand, which, due to perfect conditions, blows around into massive sand dunes -- perfect for wild desert fun!

Bring your pooch along for the adventure of a lifetime at this state park. The campground is made up of 22 sites and offers a comfort station, drinking water, and hot showers. There is also a sewage disposal station on the grounds, along with picnic tables and a parking lot. The parking lot is more important than you may at first think, as this place is a huge hotspot for OHVing. So bring your dune buggy and hit the hills of Coral Pink Sand Dunes!

This area is a desert, so extra precautions should be taken. This means you need to be aware of sun protection for both you and your pooch. Also, always bring along drinking water for your sandy adventures. Fire bans or restrictions may be in place at any time, so it is your responsibility to enquire what the current rules are before making a campfire. 

The activities here are unlike any other, with some campers bringing stand-up or lay-down boards along to carve down the sand dunes! There are also many hiking trails to explore with your best buddy at your side. All pooches must stay on a 6 foot (or shorter) leash at all times, and please don't leave your Fido unattended at any point in your stay. It's important to always clean up properly after your doggo so that canines of all kinds stay welcome at Utah state parks.
