Description

The Country Oaks RV Park and Campground is a public campground and RV park located in Kingsland, Georgia. The easily accessible campground is nestled away in an oak and palmetto-filled forest, just a few miles away from Jacksonville. It is the perfect spot for camping with your friends and family, as well as a good rest stop if you are traveling across the country – especially since there are two truck stops nearby. Plus, the roads that lead to the campground are paved and won’t give your RV any trouble!

The charming campground is privately owned and features 44 full hookup RV sites, all of which are wide, well shaded, and level. Out of the 44 sites, 18 are pull-through and can accommodate large RVs. Each campsite is surrounded by lush greenery that provides plenty of privacy and peace for patrons to enjoy. Full hookups are available at every site, with 20, 30, and 50 amp connections available. Picnic tables can be found at each campsite and are the perfect spot for breakfast in the morning. Sites start at $38 per night.

In addition to the above, the Country Oaks Campground features restrooms with flushing toilets and hot showers, a laundry room, propane refills, and free wifi. Though the cell phone signal is decent at the campground, there is a telephone in the office for the patrons' convenience. There is also a porch with cozy rocking chairs that visitors are welcome to relax on, as well as a book swap in the library and horseshoe pits. Lastly, there is a well-stocked fishing hole at the campground, which is very convenient for fishing enthusiasts.

Dogs are welcome at the campground but need to remain supervised throughout their stay. Please look after your canine companions by making sure they are well fed, hydrated, exercised and clean up after.

The campground is located a five-minute drive from large grocery stores, a service center, and restaurants. If you end up visiting, make sure to check out Old Savannah and St. Mary's Historic District, the local beaches, the Jacksonville Zoo, and various forts that are nearby.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
