Court Sheriff is a pawesome waterside campground with plenty of great amenities for you and your furry best friend! This campground offers 48 campsites, many of which have amazing water views. The daily fee for this fun-filled campground is $15.
Many campers at Court Sherriff spend their camping trip out on the water. The campground is located on beautiful Canyon Ferry Reservoir, which is filled with freshwater fish. If you’re bringing a boat, there’s a boat ramp available at the campground. You can also go canoeing, kayaking, and swimming in the reservoir, which is also a popular place to go to jet-skiing and water-skiing if you prefer more adventurous water sports.
If you and your pup want to go hiking, head down the road to Black Sandy State Park. This park is just 20 miles from Court Sheriff, and it features a beautiful mile-long trail which leads you to an overlook with stunning views of Hauser Reservoir. You and your pup will both have a pawsitively amazing time hiking here!
You can also spend the day with your pup in Downtown Helena. This neighborhood is home to lovely Mount Helena Park, which has scenic walking trails that take you to the peak of Mount Helena. The neighborhood is also home to an off-leash dog park with separate fenced areas for large and small dogs. After you’re finished playing in the park, you can treat your dog to lunch at one of the neighborhood’s many dog-friendly restaurants.
After your day’s adventures are finished, you and your pup can enjoy the amenities at your campsite. Each campsite comes with a fire ring, grill grate, and a picnic table where you can relax with your dog and enjoy the view of the reservoir.
