Looking to spend a little time away in a campground that can accommodate tents, RV's and bigger rigs, all with a pet-friendly policy?
Cozy Acres Campground/RV Park is waiting to give you friendly service and hook you up to electricity (30/50 amp), water, and sewer on a gravel site with a patio for the super-size rigs. The campground is surrounded by farms, offering a secluded, quiet ambiance with rolling green hills, hiking trails, and ponds to put catfish on the menu for dinner. Tall, established trees provide a good amount of shade where the relaxed country vibe feels peaceful and inviting
You can connect to the Internet at the camp store where folks get together in the café for a bite to eat or re-stock with groceries and camp essentials. There are approximately 113 campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire-ring. Restrooms and showers are clean with a laundry and wooded sites to pitch your tent. Kids have their own toddler pool and a cool playground with a larger pool for the grownups to cool off in.
Campground activities include ice cream socials, the festival of the grapes, Halloween fun, plus volleyball, horseshoes and fire truck rides. The clubrooms are set up for weddings and group parties and there are rustic cottages with a kitchen and bathroom to rent. Regulars can also store their RV till next season.
Cozy Acres Campground welcomes the family dog with a few rules to keep all campers happy. Your pooch has to be on a leash and be constantly supervised. Friendly woofers are preferred and it’s up to their owners to pick up after them. No pets are allowed in the camp buildings, including the cottage rentals.
Life is an adventure, so when the sun starts beating through the cold winter air, pack up the RV and head to Cozy Acres for sun and serenity. Explore the outer areas with a trip to the Science Museum of Virginia or the Metro Richmond Zoo, only 25 miles from the camp.
