Cumberland Point Campground is a charming campground located in Nancy, Kentucky. The campground is situated just a few minutes away from the 60,000-acre Cumberland Lake, which offers over 1,250 miles of shoreline for patrons to enjoy. From fishing, boating, and water sports to hiking and relaxing in the wild, the campgroundās convenient location provides all sorts of adventures for you and your furry friend!
The 30-acre campground is made up of 30 spacious, well-shaded, full-service sites. Half of the campsites offer waterfront views and are extremely popular during the summer. Tent sites are $15 per night, while RV sites are $25 per night and come with full hookups. All sites are equipped with fire rings, water, trash receptacles, and picnic tables.Ā
Restrooms with flushing toilets and showers with warm water are available at Cumberland Point, as are laundry facilities. The campground also features drinking fountains, a boat ramp, and a dump station. There are horseshoes and a playground on-site so kids can decide between playing or fishing with their parents by the campgroundās stocked fishing hole. Volleyball, corn hole, and other fun games are also available. Forgot your fishing gear? Luckily, fishing and boating supplies are available at the campgroundās general store, along with other camping necessities such as firewood and snacks.Ā
This quiet campground features a day use area with a fire pit, as well as a community lodge with free wifi and cable, both of which provide perfect opportunities for evening gatherings and a chance to get to know your camping neighbors. There is also public parking and a large picnic area. The wooded walking trails around the campground allow patrons to walk their four-legged friends in peace and without disturbing other campers. The campgroundās on-site hosts are very friendly and always try to make sure their guests have everything they need for a fantastic time.
