East Twin

If you want to camp in a furrific lakeside campground with your dog, East Twin is perfect for you! This campground is located on the beautiful 110-acre East Twin Lake, and it offers 10 sites that can accommodate tents and RVs up to 30 feet in length. While you’re at East Twin, you and your pup will find tons of fun things to do together!

If you and your dog enjoy hiking together, there are a few great trails near East Twin. This includes Aldo Leopold Trail, which is just eight miles down the road from East Twin. This 1.2-mile trail takes you along a lake and by the beautiful Mondeaux River. If you’re looking for a longer hike, East Twin is also just a short drive from the 11-mile Round Lake Hiking Trail system. These trails take you around Round Lake, through forests filled with old-growth white pine trees, and by the Flambeau River.

East Twin is also the perfect place for fishermen and boaters to camp. There’s a boat ramp about a half-mile east of the campground, which offers access to East Twin Lake. You can also try your luck catching largemouth bass and pan fish from the lakeshore.

At the end of the day, you and your pup can relax and enjoy East Twin’s many amenities. Each campsite comes with a picnic table and a campfire ring with a grill, which you can use to cook dinner for you and your dog. If you get thirsty, drinking water is available at the campground. Remember to bring doggy bags so you can clean up after your pup while you’re at the campground.
