Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground

Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground is a highly-rated, family-owned campground located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The cozy campground sits in a wooded, country-like setting, surrounded by lush greenery and has plenty of grassy open space for owners to walk its four-legged visitors. In addition to being dog-friendly, the campground is the perfect spot for a family trip outdoors, especially since there are numerous amenities and activities that kids can participate in during their stay. 

The campground primarily accommodates RV and tent camping, although there are a handful of charming cabins available for rent as well. The campground is made up of approximately 50 sites, all of which are gravel and very well-shaded. There are 23 full-service sites and 27 sites that have water and electricity hookups only.  Most of the campsites are quite spacious, and some can hold RVs up to 55 feet in length, so if you have a big rig you are welcome here! There are 22 pull-through campsites, though they get occupied fast. Site rates start at $20 per night.

 The cabins feature bunk beds and double beds; please make sure to bring your linens as they are not provided. They come with heat, air conditioning and cable included and there is a porch swing by every cabin. There is an extra $5 charge per day per dog that applies to those staying in cabins. There is a dog-walking area at the campground, so make sure to pack lots of dog waste bags and clean up after your furry four-legged friend during your stay. 

Sites are equipped with grills, fire rings and picnic tables and all of them come with free Wifi and cable. There are well-maintained and stocked restrooms on site that feature flushing toilets and hot showers. Laundry facilities, a dump station, and RV storage are also available on-site. Plus, visitors have easy access to propane and firewood that can be purchased at the campground’s store, along with some beverages and snacks. If that wasn’t enough, the campground features a clubhouse, a playground, and a swimming pool - all of which help make sure that the kids are having fun and the parents are getting some much-needed rest. In terms of other attractions, the campground is conveniently located close to the Fort Knox-Patton Museum, under an hour away from the Mammoth Cave National Park and attraction-filled Louisville.
