Nestled on the calm and soothing Harris Lake is Fisherman's Cove, where you and your pooch will find an abundance of amenities designed to ensure a comfortable visit for both of you. Situated in Tavares, Florida, Harris Lake is connected to a chain of lakes, giving you a unique experience on the water.

Fisherman's Cove not only has 300 RV sites that can accommodate large RVs, but it also has a seven-room hotel and additional lodging rentals for those who do not have their own vehicle. RV sites come equipped with a plethora of amenities, and rates begin as low as $55 per night. RV sites have full hookups, which include water, electric, and sewage services. Waterfront sites are available, guaranteeing you picturesque views.

Pups are welcome at Fisherman's Cove, as long as you adhere to the maximum leash requirement of six feet. Dog owners are asked to bring proof of vaccinations, and, of course, tidy up any messes made by their pooch. Keep in mind that dogs who act aggressive may be asked to leave the campground. The RV section of the park is pet-friendly; however; the lodgings and hotel are not.

With a marina and dock providing you with unlimited access to Harris Lake and the chain of likes connected to it, access to water won’t be a problem. In fact, both you and Fido can enjoy cruising the lake waters by boat. If you don't have your own boat, there are rentals available. There’s also a gas station for boats conveniently located right within the campground, in addition to a boat store and docking area.

Other activities you can enjoy include visiting the heated swimming pool, fitness center, or the shuffleboard courts. Un-fur-tunately, these activities are not pup-friendly, so it's something you'll have to do on your own. You are welcome though, to take your pooch for long walks around the campground on the designated walking trails that are pawfect for novice hikers.
