Description

Fossil Valley RV Park, situated in Vernal, welcomes you and your pooch with open paws to come and stay a while in Utah's "Dinosaurland." Surrounded yourself with fossils and "oppawtunities" to learn about the past while camping under the stars in Utah.

The campground is dog-friendly and welcomes all breeds. Keep your pooch on their leash while visiting, and ensure you manage their behavior. Excessive barking is not permitted, so please be mindful of other guests. There’s no designated dog area for Fido to roam off-leash, but you can satisfy them with a walk around the campground as there are approximately 5 wooded acres for you to explore.

Fossil Valley is an RV and tent campground. Other camping vehicles such as fifth wheels and pop-up trailers are welcome and can be accommodated. All sites are grassy with trees and adequate shade. RV sites come complete with all hookup services, including water, sewage, and electricity (30 and 50 amps available). RV sites can also fit vehicles up to 80 feet in length. Electric-only sites are offered to tent campers. Sites begin at $35 per night for the most basic accommodations for two guests. Each additional guest costs $2.

Since you're in Utah's "Dinosaurland," you'll likely want to check out some of the fascinating attractions located only minutes away. The Dinosaur National Monument or the Dinosaur Quarry are perfect places to begin because they're pooch-friendly, so long as you drive yourself to the quarry, rather than take the commonly used shuttle bus. Discover remnants of dinosaurs in Utah's beautiful outdoors to amplify your camping experience.

When it comes to amenities, you'll be pleased to find hot showers and pristine washrooms. Laundry facilities and self-storage rentals are offered for campers looking to pack light. As the campground is located in town, you’re close to a plethora of stores and restaurants, some of which will even deliver to the grounds.

If you're interested in checking out Utah's outdoor "oppawtunities", why not pitch your tent at Fossil Valley RV Park so you have easy access to all the area has to offer?
