Frenchman’s Wilderness Campground is a welcoming RV campground located in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. It is a great destination for campers looking for both short and extended stays. The campground offers useful amenities, and it has a friendly vibe that is perfect for family camping. Set in a good location with access to lots of services and points of interest, the campground is definitely one of Louisiana’s best RV sites. You’re also allowed to bring pets to the campground, so you can enjoy the company of your canine companion while you stay there!

The campground houses 140 sites, and there are a few different kinds of sites you can choose from — regular, 30 amp with patio, 50 amp, and 50 amp with patio. The daily rates are $29.50, $31.50, $31.50, and $33.50, respectively. Sites with concrete slabs cost an extra $3 per night. The campground’s amenities are top-notch. They include showers, two playgrounds, a swimming pool, laundry facilities, and more. 

The campground is also close to some small towns where you can find stores, cafés, restaurants, and more. If you’re looking to get out and explore the local scene, you will have lots of activities to choose from. There are some great historic sites in the area, as well as festivals and seasonal activities in the surrounding communities.

There are a few things you should consider when you’re planning your stay at Frenchman’s Wilderness. Remember that there is a two-night minimum stay on weekends, and there may be different minimum stays for holidays. Upon arrival, visitors should head to the campground office to register. Dogs must be kept on-leash at all times, and make sure to clean up after them as well. Also, dogs are not allowed near the pool or in buildings. Please note that this is an RV campsite; tent camping is not permitted.
