Glacier Meadow RV Park

If you're visiting the stunning Glacier National Park and you're looking for a place to park the RV or pitch a tent, then the Glacier Meadow RV Park and Campground is the pawfect spot. The vast 58-acre campground is situated in a meadow, only 16 miles west of East Glacier Park, Montana. Sitting amongst the mountains rife with wildlife, it is an excellent getaway to the majestic landscapes and fragrant forests of Glacier National Park.

The campground is made up of 41 campsites, including 25 pull-through sites equipped with water and electric connections, and 16 wooded sites that come with electricity and water station. Be aware, however, that most sites are not shaded. Since big rigs and trailers are welcome, you won’t have any issues parking your trusty RV here. If you don't have your own vehicle, the campground is also happy to host tent campers and groups. A cozy log cabin is also available, but it's unclear whether canine campers are allowed inside. You will find all the fundamental amenities here as well, including clean bathrooms equipped with running water and showers, a laundry facility, and a dump station. 

Since the campground is located right next to one of America’s most beautiful national parks, most local hikes are less than an hour's drive away -- and they are stunning! Surround yourself with the incredible mountains and countless evergreen trees, and take your four-legged companion with you. Careful, though; since the area is home to a variety of wildlife (including bears and moose) always remain alert. Whether you're in the campground or on the trails, make sure that your fur-ball is always leashed and cleaned up after.

When you decide that you’ve had enough of hiking, feel free to enjoy a round of disc golf, throw some horseshoes, or spend your afternoon by the shuffleboard court. If you have to stay connected, wifi is available in some areas of the campground.

The prices are very reasonable considering the location and provided amenities. They start at $28 per night for a tent site and $44.50 for an RV site.
