The shoreline of Grayson Lake varies from gentle grassy slopes to steep sandstone canyons, so there's plenty of scenery for boaters to explore. Anyone who loves fishing is also well catered for, with largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, bluegill, crappie and catfish all in abundance.
When you're not out on the water, you might like to explore one of the park's hiking trails. The 0.8-mile Beech-Hemlock Forest Trail is a nature lover's delight, while the three-mile Lick Falls Trail provides a longer adventure.

The spacious campground in Grayson Lake State Park features 71 pet-friendly campsites and is open from April until the end of October. Utility hookups, a dump station, restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are all provided. Daily rates start at $25.
