Group Landing

Group Landing Campground is situated in northeast Florida’s Osceola National Forest. The forest encompasses nearly 200,000 acres and is the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable camping trip. Flatwood and cypress forests and swamps provide a setting where you can immerse yourself in nature and leave the stress of daily life behind. Group Landing, as its name suggests, is a group campground, so you can invite lots of your friends and family to come along for the awesome adventure. And don’t forget to bring your dog — Group Landing is pet-friendly!

Group Landing is a single-site campground, and the campsite can accommodate up to 50 people. The nightly fee is $60. It rests beside the scenic Ocean Pond, and pine and cypress trees provide lots of shade. Group Landing has top-notch amenities to ensure that your stay is a pleasant one. You have access to electrical hookups, hot showers, drinking water, a picnic shelter, and a fire pit with a grill.

There are plenty of things to do while you’re camping out at Group Landing. The campground is so nice that you might be tempted to hang out there the whole time, but you don’t want to miss out on the area’s outdoor activities. The neighboring pond is a good place for swimming, canoeing, and fishing. There are also a number of trails in the area suitable for both short walks and long hikes. History buffs will enjoy the area’s many historical sites, like Olustee Battlefield.

When you’re staying at Group Landing, remember that your dog must remain leashed at all times. Also, you are in an active bear area, so make sure you store and dispose of food safely. You must check in at 2:00 pm when you arrive, and you have to check out by noon when you depart. Get ready for an un-fur-gettable adventure at Group Landing!
