Holiday Park Campground

With over 200 forested acres of land for your pooch to discover, the picturesque Holiday Park Campground is located in Greensboro, Maryland. This campground is nestled right alongside the Choptank River, giving both you and your pup unlimited water access.

Holiday Park is dog-friendly and can accommodate any type of camper, with 200 campsites starting at only $43.50 per night. Some of the RV sites are pull-through and located on the river. Campsite amenities vary and can include water and electric hookups or full hookups with sewage. There’s also RV storage and pump-out services for RVs on-site, making dumping quick and convenient. Free cable is offered in addition to a picnic table and fire ring on each campsite. 

All sites are dog-friendly, as long as you follow the rules of the park. Keep your pooch on a leash at all times when traveling through the park. Remember to tidy up any waste they make right away, and be sure to keep your pup under control at all times. If you use a tie-down on your site, you must be present with your pup.

There's a variety of ways for you to keep busy. Check out one of the many sports opportunities at Holiday Park Campground, including shuffleboard, horseshoes, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. There's also billiards, ping pong, foosball, and air hockey available in the games room, as well as a swimming pool and four playgrounds for the kids.

Fishing in the river is permitted and an enjoyable way to spend some quality time relaxing with your pup. Keep in mind you do need to purchase a Maryland fishing license to enjoy in this activity. Hiking trails abound throughout the campground, offering easy walks and challenging treks. Trail lengths vary, but maps are available at the campground. All trails are Fido-friendly and grant you and your pup a chance to see some of Maryland's wildlife, such as elk, deer, porcupine, fox squirrel, and the snowshoe hare.
