Description

Inlet Campground is a peaceful location in west-central Oregon that attracts countless campers every season. It is known for its beautiful surroundings and its great location near lots of outdoor recreation sites. The campground rests beside the North Umpqua River in a secluded forest at an elevation of about 4,000 feet. To add to the amazing landscape that surrounds it, the campground has well-kept facilities that provide campers with everything they need for an amazing and memorable camping trip. Best of all, the campground is pet-friendly, so you can bring your canine companion along to keep you company!

Inlet Campground houses 13 campsites for $10 per night, and 6 of these sites are first-come, first-served; the other 7 are reservable in advance. Each site has a picnic table, campfire ring, and grills. There are also some other nice amenities and services at the campground, including vault-style restrooms and firewood for sale.

There are lots of activities to explore in the area around the campground, so you’ll have plenty of ways to fill your time throughout your stay. Head to Lemolo Lake near the campground for fishing, swimming (note that the water is cold!), boating, or paddling. Anglers can catch a variety of trout and salmon in the lake. Hikers can enjoy the Lemolo Falls Trail located right near the lake. This trail winds through the woods and into a canyon where you can see the waterfall it’s named after. Lemolo Falls drops 150 feet into the canyon below and makes for a spectacular photo opportunity.

There are a couple of things you should consider when you’re getting ready for your camping trip. Please note that there is no drinking water at the campground, so you should make sure you pack enough to last your whole stay. Also, there is no trash service at the campground. Dogs must remain leashed at all times, and make sure to clean up after your furry friend as well.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
