Description

Iron Horse RV Resort invites travelers with a desire for adventure to stay in this grandiose setting where the spectacular Ruby Mountains form an oil-painting backdrop to a rugged, Nevada desert.

RVers can expect a welcoming reception in a pristine campground with gravel pads long enough to accommodate the larger rigs and manicured grass between motorhomes. Sites are spacious with decorative bushes and a picnic table on a paved patio with enough room for a barbeque grill. Wide gravel roads and drive-in access make navigating your site a breeze. Modern connections to water, sewer, wi-fi, and electricity (30/50 amp) are offered here.  Depending on where you are located, there may be a need for leveling blocks as some sites are a little uneven. The daily rate is $33 to $48.

Contemporary cottages offer a stylish stay with a kitchen, bathroom, and verandah to soak up the desert charm. Home comforts include a dishwasher, TV, and microwave. The adjacent Hilton Garden Inn is an upscale accommodation and available to campers at the resort.

This is classy living, as the family pooch is given the 5-star treatment with their very own off-leash, fenced pooch park and litter bags for pet parents to clean up their waste. Outside the park, woofers need to stay on a leash no longer than 6 feet and exhibit good doggy decorum. Walks around the resort are better than a chew toy, with new sights and scents to explore.

Kids don’t miss out with an ultra-awesome playground, while a sparkling pool lets campers cool off in the desert heat. Relax in the hot tub, work out in the gym, or play a game of pool or ping-pong. Restrooms, showers, and a laundry facility are squeaky clean, while a camp store offers snack food and RV supplies.

The beauty of this resort location is the quiet solitude, with the convenience of stores and restaurants only a few miles away. Elko is a town with the Midas touch and a boomtown history. Its Wild West enchantment is a magnet for folks looking to be part of the outdoor arena where hiking, rock climbing, and horseback riding are an everyday adventure.

If you want to ensure a site at this popular Nevada resort, it's wise to make a reservation by phone or through their website in advance.
