Sites are level with a picnic table provided.

The temperatures can soar up into the 90’s when the summer comes, so your dog is likely to feel the heat. Keep them hydrated with plenty of fresh water and under the shade of an umbrella or tent.

A Safeway store is within walking distance of the campground, or you could take a five-minute drive to Hawthorne, a town that celebrates its patriotism with shops decorated in the colors of the American flag. The Hawthorne Ordnance Museum reveals a military history, while the Walker Lake Recreation Area showcases natural, landscape wonders and intrepid trails.
