Description

Do you want to explore all of Florida? For any heading through Jennings, a small town not far from the Florida/Georgia border, the Jennings KOA is a great little facility to stop in at. Not far from many of the area's attractions -- including Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Georgia -- the campground offers a pleasant place to set up camp, having been recently revamped by new owners.

All types of campers are welcome here, whether you have an RV, pop-up, or a tent. Those that like a little more structure can look into renting one of the property's deluxe cabins, though your furry friend won't be able to join you in there. Site amenities include electric + water and full hookup options starting at $44 per night, and complimentary WiFi is offered throughout the park. You'll also have access to a camp store to grab whatever you forgot to pack and a laundry room to freshen up your sheets and clothing. For the few lucky campers that have a raised fire ring at their site, feel free to purchase wood from the camp store and enjoy a toasty blaze -- however, due to local laws, all other campers must go to the group fire to get their fill of flames.

A picturesque lake sits in the middle of the grounds where visitors can feed the turtles and ducks or try their luck at landing a fish, though they'll have to return their catch to the waters. Lots of games will keep you and your family busy, including bocce ball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and volleyball! There is also a playground for your kids to monkey around on and a pool where you all can beat the heat (except Fido -- sorry, buddy!)

If you're looking to stretch your pupper's legs out, head over to the designated dog run, where pooches can stroll and sniff to their heart's content while on-leash. Doggy bags are provided, so there's no excuse not to clean up after your beloved fur-ball. Please note that excessive barkers or dogs that are human or canine-aggressive may be asked to leave, meaning your pooch needs to be on their best behavior!

For a great family getaway, be sure to pop into Jennings KOA!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
