Kearney RV Park & Campground
Kearney RV Park and Campground is a unique camping destination in Kearney, Nebraska. This dog-friendly campground is divided into two separate camping areas. This gives you the option to either camp on the North Channel of the Platte River at North Park or right on Getaway Bay Lake in Getaway Bay Park.
The only rules to keep in mind regarding your pup include managing their behavior and keeping them on a leash at all times. Dogs are never to be left unattended, even when inside of your own camping vehicle. Enjoy taking a walk with your pooch through one of the well-maintained hiking trails along the river or the lake. You can also take your pooch for a refreshing swim in Getaway Bay, or relax with them waterside while you cast a line.
Camping rates begin at $45 a night plus tax for RV campers, and tent camping is $25 per night at both locations. Other vehicle campers such as fifth-wheels and pop-up trailers are welcome. All RV sites are pull-through and spacious at 100 feet in size, making it easy to leave trailers connected when staying overnight. SitesĀ come fully equipped with water, electric, and sewage hookups, adding a touch of modernity to your camping experience. Campsites also come with paved pads, making pitching your tent and parking the RV simple.
Both campground areas are stocked with the same amenities. Laundry and shower facilities are available in addition to flush toilets. WiFi is offered at both locations, but downloading and/or streaming movies and music are not permitted. Propane is sold on the premises, so it's no issue if you forgot to fill up before arriving.
