Let’s go camping at one of Nebraska City’s hidden gems, where the fun has already started and the hosts are waiting to welcome you!
Victorian Acres RV Park is a vacationer’s dream escape with a landscape of manicured grass, rolling hills, and pretty, flowering trees. The staff is truly motivated and present super-clean restrooms, showers and a paid laundry facility.Â
There are 79 spacious pull-through and back-in sites with full hookups for RV’s, including electricity (30/50 amp), sewer, and water. Roads and RV pads made of packed gravel offer some trees for shade and various degrees of level access. All sites feature a picnic table and fire ring with plenty of room for the larger motorhomes.
If you want to pitch a tent and get in touch with your inner zen, there are grassy, tree-scaped areas to sit back and relax.  Wi-fi is available, plus an awesome playground for kids and a storm shelter that ensures camper safety. Victorian Acres RV Park and Campground is open all year round with the summer months being peak times.
You can bring your fur-babies to the park, and the owners are putting together a fenced dog run so your pooch can run and play off-leash. All other times, it’s requested they stay on a leash when outside vehicles and be monitored by their guardians. A main highway borders the park, so it’s wise to keep precious pups close. Be sure to pack waste bags for your camping trip and clean up your pet's waste. There is a limit of two dogs per site.
Nebraska City is less than 3 miles up the road, offering a smorgasbord of enticing things to do. Arbor Day Farm is a great place to take the kids, with 260 acres of walking trails, a cool tree house, and a gift store. Visit the Kregal Windmill Museum, or take your pooch along the Steamboat Rail Trail for a fun walk by the Missouri River.
