Pine Grove RV Park is a super-friendly campground with superbly manicured grounds in a beautiful park setting. The welcome mat is always out, with staff happy to escort campers to a spacious gravel or grass site where RV’s get fully hooked up to electricity (30/50 amp) with water and sewer.
The majority of sites are easily accessible pull-throughs, with plenty of room for the big rigs and growing trees providing some shade. There are around thirteen sites allocated for tents and wifi available throughout the park. Roads in and out are paved with easy access to sites.
The hosts provide clean restrooms, showers, and a good-sized laundry room with a massive swimming pool and exercise zone so you can stay fit while on holiday. Try your hand at the classic horseshoes or shuffleboard, or form a team and play new friends on the volleyball or tennis court. The kids have an awesome playground -- plus, tractor rides are always a camp favorite. Catch up with the world news in the TV room or find a quiet, grassy space for a picnic or reading.
Pine Grove is pet-friendly, with a fenced dog park where pooches can meet and greet other dogs while off-leash. Outside the park, all pooches must be on a leash and their owners are required to pick up all waste. There’s little shade in the dog area, so bring fresh water to keep thirsty pups hydrated. The park has litter bags available by the dog park entrance.
The camp store is well-supplied with a snack bar next the office offering pizza and other yummy treats, including ice cream for the kids. Pine Grove RV Park has a secluded ambiance for a weekend or summer getaway, with restaurants and stores only a three-mile drive away, in Greenwood, a petite village in Cass County, Nebraska.
Platte Valley Antique Mall offers collectors a flea-market find to take back home, while the Greenwood Museum takes you on a historic journey of the area. A 37-minute drive and you're in Omaha, making Pine Grove a convenient stopover for road trippers traveling this path.
