The product of a dam built way back in the 1940s, Lake Dubay has been providing the residents of Wisconsin with both fun and beauty for decades. If you're looking to stay right beside this body of water, Lake Dubay Shores Campground could be exactly what you want.
The grounds here boast 200 sites to camp on, with many offering full or partial hookup options. For those that prefer a more permanent shelter, Lake Dubay Shores also provides lakehouse and motel rentals, but keep in mind that these arrangements do not allow puppers. You'll find a store on-site to help you restock during your stay, and a dump station is also accessible here. The facility also hooks you up to their free wifi, so posting about all of the fun you're having should be no problem. Nightly rates to stay in the park start at $30, in addition to a daily doggy fee of $1 per pooch. Keep in mind that many visitors have noted that the sites can be pretty tight, so fitting a larger rig here may prove to be difficult.
Most of the good times here can be found on or around the lake itself. For those that crave an adrenaline rush, get out there on some water skis, a wakeboard, or even a jet ski. Boat rentals are available, but payments must be made in cash. If you're into fishing, you'll love trying to land a northern pike, catfish, or even a muskie! And be sure to head to the water every night come sunset time, as this area has some of the most colorful displays out there.
Canine campers are welcome to stay at this park on all of the campsites. The only thing that maintenance asks is that you keep your doggo on-leash throughout your stay and that you always clean up their waste, disposing of it correctly -- of course!Â
If you'd like to spend your time off near a beautiful Wisconsin lake, Lake Dubay Shores Campground is worth checking out.
