Lake Haven Retreat

Lake Haven Retreat is a dog-friendly campground located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This campground attracts both tent and RV campers, especially individuals looking for a year-round resort! 

Lake Haven welcomes all pooches with open paws! You can feel free to bring your pup if you are planning on staying in an RV. Due to the heat and because of the potential for harm, no dogs are permitted to stay on tent sites with campers. If you are staying in an RV and plan to bring your pooch, also remember to bring both a leash and waste disposal bags. You’re expected to tidy up any mess made by your pooch and to use the garbage cans in the park to dispose of it.

As previously mentioned, Lake Haven allows both tent and RV campers to enjoy the facilities. All RV sites come fully loaded with all the essential hookups, including electricity, water, and sewage, with both 30 and 50 amps available. There is a separate area for tent campers without hookups, which is perfect for those looking to "ruff" it.

When visiting this campground, you will be pleased to find a beautiful, fully stocked lake that's perfect for fishing. Fishing at the grounds is catch-and-release, so please do follow the regulations. Boats are not permitted on the lake unless permission has been granted. Swimming is also a popular lake activity, with roped-off areas designated for swimmers. 

For those interested in leaving the campground, one of the most popular local attractions is the NASCAR track, located within 15 miles. Feel free to take Fido and go check it out!
