Laurel Branch Campground has 71 campsites, and each site can accommodate up to six campers. Nonelectric sites are available for $17 per night, and sites with electric hookups are available for $22 per night. Amenities at the campsites include campfire rings with grills, picnic tables, and tent pads. The campground also has a playground and a boat ramp. Â
There are lots of fun ways for you to spend your time at Laurel Branch Campground. You can head to the lake for boating, fishing, swimming, or wildlife viewing—the lake is known for housing a variety of bird species. If you want to explore some of the region’s great hiking trails, you can head south of the campground. There you’ll find Nolin Lake Trail; this out-and-back trail welcomes dogs on-leash and extends 2.5 miles. It features small waterfalls, and it can get muddy from rainfall. Another great trail nearby is Raymer Hollow Trail. This trail caters to the adventurous — it is a moderate-difficulty, out-and-back woodland trail that covers seven miles. Woofers are welcome on-leash at this trail.
Please be sure to clean up after your dog at Laurel Branch Campground and remember to keep your furry friend on-leash at all times. Also note that while WiFi is available at the campground, it does cost money to access it. If you want to use the boat ramp to access the lake, note that there is a $5 daily fee.
