Located just to the north of Helena, Montana, Lincoln Road RV Park offers 77 pet-friendly RV sites in a peaceful campground. Though it's conveniently located close to I-15, there's no road noise to worry about, while excellent fishing and a range of other natural attractions can be found close by.
The park features 21 back-in sites with full hookups, 44 pull-through full-hookup sites, and a further 12 back-in sites with electricity only. 30- and 50-amp services are provided at all sites, and each gravel site features a grassy area as well as a cement pad with picnic table. Unfortunately, there are no tent sites available.
Big rigs are welcome, and the park is easy to navigate via gravel roads, while WiFi is also provided (though some previous visitors report signal quality as poor). Other features include a coin-operated laundry, two bathroom and shower facilities (which are clean and tidy), and a gift shop selling souvenirs, RV supplies, and toiletries. However, while there are some small trees between sites, there's not a whole lot of shade available.
Your four-legged family member is welcome to join you during your stay at Lincoln Road RV Park, and there's a designated pet area where your pooch can take care of nature's call. However, your pooch will need to be leashed and quiet at all times, and you must clean up after them.
Winter rates start at $33 a night from October through the end of March, but rise to $46 for the rest of the year. However, discounts are available.
And if you're looking for something to do in the local area, the park is conveniently located close to some of Montana's best fishing. With the pretty Missouri River and destinations like Canyon Ferry Lake and Hauser Lake nearby, there are plenty of spots to wet a line. The vast expanse of Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest is also just a short drive away and offers untamed wilderness and abundant wildlife.
So if you're looking for a clean and quiet campground for your pet-friendly camping vacation in central Montana, check out Lincoln Road RV Park.
