Description

The Live Oak Landing Resort in Freeport, Florida prides itself on redefining what outdoor recreation and relaxation can be, and it does not disappoint! With beautiful sites for RVs as well as a selection of cabins, there's something for every kind of camper here! The resort sits on the Choctawhatchee River System and is just minutes away from beaches, restaurants, and shops. The resort is pet-friendly, but they ask that you bring no more than two pets per site. Be sure to keep your pooch on a leash, and always clean up after them. Guests face a $50 fine each time they're caught not cleaning up any messes their pets make!

RV sites are level and nicely landscaped, and each one comes with full hookups, including 30 or 50-amp electric. These sites also have wifi and cable, as well as grills, campfire rings, and picnic tables. There aren't separate tent sites, but RV campers are allowed to pitch tents on their sites. If cabin camping is more your style, there are plenty of cabins to choose from at the resort, including five pet-friendly cottages that allow up to three pets each. These cabins sleep 2-6 people and come fully furnished with linens and towels as well.

During your stay, you'll have access to restrooms that many campers refer to as the cleanest resort bathrooms they've ever seen! There are hot showers and laundry facilities, as well as a concierge at your service. Guests can rent bicycles to check out the trails around the campground or explore them on foot. There are kayaks, canoes, and motorboats for rent, as well as chartered fishing available right on the resort. Live Oak Landing didn't forget about keeping dogs entertained, too -- there's a spacious off-leash dog park at the resort for your furry family members!

RV sites begin at $55 per night, and some cabins start at $100. Be sure to tell the resort that you're bringing a pet when you book, and don't forget to ask about extended stay rates if you plan to hang around for a while!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
