Lost Dutchman

Lost Dutchman is a retirement resort located on the Apache Junction in Arizona. This 55+ active living community lies in East Valley, right between Mesa and Phoenix, and offers high-class RV and MH sites, vacation rentals, and vacation homes for sale.

The RV area has over 100 sites that are intended for both short and long-term stay and the RV sites are equipped with up to 100-amp electricity, full hook-ups, with most being gravel and back-in sites. There are several pull-thru sites available too, and all sites are level and easily accessible, supporting vehicles up to 45 feet in length.

The resort is gated and guarded and offers a wide variety of activities, so everyone can find something to do. Amenities are plenty and include relaxing activities like the outdoor heated pools and hot tubs with a patio poolside. Those who are looking for entertainment will enjoy table pool rooms, social hall with meals, daily entertainment and dancing, the shuffleboard, and game rooms. Exercise opportunities include nearby trails, yoga classes, and a gym, and there is a library and post office on site. For those who wish to have a camping experience, a fire pit and BBQ are available too.

Nearby attractions are plentiful, including many natural and historic destinations, and there’s plenty of nearby trails – some for novices, others for advanced hikers (and Apache trail tours are available too.) Silly Mountain Park is located nearby and offers scenic views of the Superstition Mountains.

This is a pet-friendly site and you can bring your dog with you. The resort has a dedicated dog park, where both dogs and owners can mingle. There’s a dedicated pet section in the RV park, but only dogs under 40 lbs are allowed.
