An RV resort that calls itself "Arizona's best-kept secret"? Now, this we have to dive into for you! Located in beautiful Apache Junction, Arizona, this Good Sam park has all the amenities you and your pup would ever need for a stay in the desert. You can count on full hook-up sites on concrete slabs, air conditioning, phone and cable TV availability, electricity and sewer hook-ups, and free wifi throughout the park. This 55+ community is the perfect spot for folks looking to explore the Arizona foothills and participate in fishing, hiking, and other adventures. 

There is a catch with this VIP spot, though. Because of its exclusivity, if you plan to make a reservation, you'll need to ensure that your reservation is for no less than 3 months -- that's right, if you want a guaranteed spot, you have to pony up for three months. There's also storage available for trailers, motorhomes, and boats, which starts at about $30 per month. 

The good news? Pets are welcome. The bad news? There are some caveats that go along with this. For starters, your pet is welcome, but only if they're small -- according to VIP RV Resort, a small-ish pet must be under 12 lbs. and under 16" in height. Sorry to all those folks out there with bigger buddies -- they won't be able to stay at this resort. Additionally, there's a special area reserved for people who have pets, so there will be less availability if you plan to bring your pooch along. That being said, as long as you have a small pet and you're staying in the specified space, you and your pup will be fine at the VIP RV Resort so long as you're keeping your doggo on a leash at all times, cleaning up after their messes, and ensuring they're polite.
