Lottis Creek Campground

Head for the hills of Gunnison National Forest for your next outdoor escape. It is here that you will find Lottis Creek Campground, located right beside -- you guessed it -- Lottis Creek! Get right into the wilderness of Colorado as you and your pooch explore the area's pine woods, open reservoirs, babbling brooks, and crisp mountain air.

You'll be able to pick from 37 campsites at Lottis Creek, all of which contain a picnic table and a fire ring. Bring the comforts of home with you into the forest when you attach your trailer or RV to the electric, water, and sewer hookups offered at many of the lots. A group site capable of holding up to 50 people can also be reserved here, so bring your friends along to share the good times! Fees for camping start at $20 a night for a basic site and jump to $28 for a lot with hookups. Groups can expect to pay $200 per night of stay, which doesn't work out too bad when you divide it by 50.

The scenic surroundings make for a perfect place to just sit back an unwind, but if you're more of a go-getter, the Gunnison National Forest will not disappoint when it comes to fun ways to spend your day. Bring your canoe or kayak along to spend some time paddling out on the water, or try your luck at fishing the many streams and creeks that flow through the woods. If you're even more extreme, be sure to hit the OHV roads found just outside of the campground.

Your furry companion is allowed at Lottis Creek as long as they stay on-leash and do not bother other visitors. Be sure to watch for signs showing where doggos should not go and always clean up after your barky buddy.
