Mount Timpanogos Campground is located in Aspen Grove, Utah. It doesn’t seem to be a huge campground, as their website says they have only 13 family campsites available. Speaking of family, your pooch is allowed to tag along for this one. So, make sure you’re prepared!
This campground is located in the scenic Wasatch Mountains and offers breathtaking views of the mountains and trees. It is situated close to many wonderful things to see, such as the Alpine Loop. You can drive the Alpine Loop, which is especially gorgeous in the fall. The campsite is also close to Timpanogos Cave National Monument, Deer Creek Reservoir, Tibble Fork Reservoir, and many other sites. There is drinking water available. However, if you are in an RV, there are no hookups. So, they advise filling up with water before entering the campground. There are toilets available, but there don’t appear to be any showers. It does look like campfires are allowed, however, it's always good to double check.
Many people who visit this area do so because of the amazing biking, hiking, fishing, boating, and more. It’s a gorgeous place to also just sit back and enjoy nature. As for Fido, it does look like your pooch is allowed. However, there is no information about the leash laws. So, call ahead if you have questions. Just in case, be sure to bring your dog's leash as well as poop bags. Don’t forget to clean up after your pooch, or there might be some very unhappy campers around you. Also, be sure to bring anything else your pooch might need. You want it to be a pleasant experience for everyone, including your pup.
