Meteor Crater RV Park

Wow! That's one impressive hole in the ground! But it is also an exciting artifact of our spectacular universe and the wonders of the sky that you can appreciate at the RV Meteor Crater RV Park. This park is located in northern Arizona within five miles of the Meteor Crater Park. It is in the desert and offers spectacular views of the night sky and the San Francisco mountain peaks in the distance. The area offers many opportunities for day trips, hiking, perhaps some casino fun, and nearby attractions associated with the meteor. It is a desert location but the park also has trees and grassy areas. 

Visitors to the park comment that it is well maintained. There are many amenities that include a convenience store and gift shop, laundry, dump station, gasoline, storage, RV supplies, and a morning newspaper. The park is handicap accessible. There are picnic tables and a recreation center with complimentary coffee,  You can play horseshoes here. There are 71 sites at this park. The maximum RV size is 60 feet long and 30 feet wide. The sites offer full hook-up services. Rates vary by type of hook-up and length of stay. The park offers group rates as well. 

This park happily welcomes pets. Dogs must be on a leash during their stay. The property offers a fenced dog run where your pet can go off-leash for some exercise. Always consider the size and behavior of other dogs when entering a dog run area. If you have a puppy, do not take your dog into dog runs until all vaccinations are complete. When camping with your dog, never leave your animal tethered outside, unattended. You are in a dessert so consider the temperature and how your dog is affected at all times. Be a good camper and always clean up after your pet.
