Description

Camp with your favorite canine compadre in the Fryingpan Valley at Mollie B/White River Campground in the heart of the Rockies. Enjoy a lakeside spot with accommodations that include flush toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, potable water, and boat ramp access. This pawesome facility has 26 sites where you can set up your tent or RV that's up to 40 feet long. There are no electric hookups here. Make plans so that you can reserve a place at least four days in advance.

The campground sits on the northern end of Ruedi Reservoir in an open space surrounded by mixed conifer forest. Spend your evenings watching the stars and enjoying the scent of fresh pine. During the day, you won't be bored -- take advantage of the lake by bringing a boat or canoe. Trailer space is available in the marina parking lot. Head down to the dam and try your hand fly-fishing for a variety of trout in the Fryingpan River. Area fishing restrictions include using only artificial flies or lures and catch limits.

On land, you can explore the Ruedi Trail on foot or by bike. Climb the eight-mile natural surface pathway through the forest to the top of Red Table Mountain. Once you gain the apex, you'll have puptacular 360-degree views of the reservoir, the Fryingpan Valley, and the surrounding wilderness areas.

Great news! Fido can join you on your campout. Keep pets with you and on a leash at all times. They're welcome to come hiking and boating with you here. Have waste bags handy to scoop their droppings.

Escape the daily grind in the White River National Forest and enjoy an outdoor adventure at Mollie B/White River Campground. Spend your days fishing, boating, hiking, and biking in this puptastic area. As you explore your surroundings, you may see wildlife like bighorn sheep, elk, ptarmigan, and more (which is why it's extra important to keep your buddy on-leash!).

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
