Description

Mountain Valley RV Resort sets the bar high for others to follow by creating an exclusive campground with first-class accommodation. The setting in Heber Valley with the Rocky Mountains in view is breathtakingly beautiful and a go-to destination for RVers complete with pull-through sites, spacious concrete pads, and manicured grass.

Here, you can connect to electricity (30/50 amp) water, and sewer, with access to the internet and cable TV. The average daily rate depending on RV length is around $54 for a 50 amp connection. Pitch a tent and be wowed by the spectacular terrain for a nightly rate of $30.

The designers of this 5-star resort have thought of everything and present a selection of mountain cabins that sleep up to 6 people with a TV, fridge, and microwave. If you fancy a little luxury, their deluxe cabins offer a partial bathroom, kitchenette, and flat-screen TV. The perfect scenario for a romantic, weekend getaway. Book early as peak times run from May through to October when spaces are limited.

The resort is relatively new and divided up into areas for adults and families with common areas for both. Each has their own private amenities including modern, ultra-clean restrooms, showers, and laundry room, plus a swimming pool, fitness, and TV area. There are no busy roads nearby -- only a peaceful ambiance that shakes away the stresses of life.

Kids who have come to stay with Mom and Dad get their own playground, pool and basketball court. Mini-golf, pickle and bocce ball are also on the menu for outdoor fun. All sites are provided with a picnic table and communal fire pits.

Pets do pretty well here, with two fully fenced dog parks where they can romp and play off-leash. Each run has a set of benches with grass and litter bags so owners can pick up their waste. Outside of the dog parks and vehicles, all woofers must remain on a leash. The resort does not allow Rottweilers, Pitbulls, Chows and other dogs deemed aggressive by campground staff, so be sure your pooch will gain entry.

The resort unlocks the door to Herber Valley an awe-inspiring city many liken to Switzerland. Anyone who loves the enticing aura of the great outdoors will be drawn to this spine-tingling space. The region boasts entry to Wasatch State Park, only 7 miles from the resort where skiing, hiking, and horseback riding are all part of the alpine fun.

The kids will be over the moon to see the Herber Valley Railroad and ride in one of their historic steam locomotives. The adventure starts when you check in to Mountain Valley RV Resort -- a chic camping experience for families and the young at heart.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
