Ocala North RV Park is a dog's paradise, and owners will love it, too! Surrounded by lush trees and green grass, this RV resort in central Florida has everything you need for a tail-waggin' good time!
The park is just minutes from I-75, situated directly between Gainesville and Ocala. Guests can enjoy the free WiFi and cable TV, clean restrooms and showers, and the laundry facility on-site. Stay in shape or just have a little extra fun with the large heated pool, shuffleboard courts, and horseshoe pits available for daily use.
Each site is situated on a concrete pad and there are paved roads to access your area. RVs have full hookups with 30 and 50 amp receptacles, and if you need propane, it's sold on the property. Rates will vary depending on season and length of stay, but daily standard rates for the back-in sites begin at $35 per night for two adults. Additional adults are required to pay $5 per person, per night fee. Two children ages 11 and under are allowed free, with additional children assessed a $5 per child, per night fee.
The peaceful atmosphere is pawfect for those who want to get away from the fast pace of daily life, but if you want to be entertained, there's plenty for you here, too! The clubhouse features a full kitchen, and during peak season, there are daily planned activities. There's also a rec center to keep you busy. Don't forget to participate in the Saturday breakfasts and Sunday ice cream socials for guests!
With all of the thoughtful offerings the park provides, it's not surprising that they didn't leave out Fido, either. Instead, they provide a large, fenced-in dog run surrounded by trees for your pets. Only cats and dogs are allowed, and they both must be on a leash when they are outside of your rig unless they are in the dog run. Pets aren't allowed in any of the common use facilities.
There's only one drawback -- the park prohibits "dangerous" breeds. Here at Wag!, we believe there's no such thing as a dangerous breed, but if you fear your pup might fall into that category, contact the resort directly before booking your stay, as the restricted breeds are not specified on the website.
The perfect in-between place to go -- not too big, not too small -- the Ocala North RV Park is just right for all of your vacation getaway needs!
