Description

The Old Mill Run Park is located in western Indiana near the border with Illinois. Featuring summer hayrides, holiday parties, and numerous outdoor activities, the campground is a great overnight stop for a relaxing, fun-filled weekend with the kids.

Overnight camping rates start at $25 per night for tent campers. In addition to full-service RV sites, the property allows tent camping and has cabins available for rent. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and has access to WiFi hotspots.

The park has a lot to offer for outdoor enthusiasts. A few of the amenities found at the park include a small fishing pond, shuffleboard, volleyball, basketball, and five playgrounds. The on-site swimming pool is heated and available to all campers.

The property boasts a grocery and camping supply store as well as a restaurant called Canteen with typical summer fare, such as pizza, hot dogs, and nachos.

If you prefer indoor activities, the game room has many options for entertainment, including Saturday night Bingo.

Pets are welcome at the Old Mill Run Park, but must be kept on leashes at all times and aren’t allowed to stay in the cabins. They are allowed to stay in your RV or tents with you, provided that you clean up after them.

Fido will enjoy long walks on the nature trails and around the pond. If your buddy needs to roam free, there is an off-leash dog park in Carmel, Indiana, but it is a 45-minute trip to get there.

A water park is located eight miles from the campground if you’re seeking more water adventures. Thorntown is also home to the Countryside Antique Mall.

If you love the outdoors and are looking to spend your summer days lounging in a refreshing pool or playing golf in a cow pasture, reserve your spot at the Old Mill Run Park in quiet Thorntown, Indiana.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
