Ready to escape the daily grind and soak up some Florida sunshine? Paradise Island RV Resort boasts a central location in idyllic Fort Lauderdale. RV travelers both two- and four-legged will "pawsitively" love camping out here!
Your stay will include access to amenities like:
Other conveniences include free Wi-Fi, a library lending room, and a barbecue area. The resort is only a bone's throw away from Fort Lauderdale Beach. Certain sections of this beach welcome leashed dogs from 6 AM to 9 AM. Why not catch the sunrise with your canine companion before the crowds descend on the sand?
Now that we've covered some of the fun stuff, it's time to review the rules. Paradise Island RV Resort prohibits certain breeds, including German Shepherds. However, the campground website doesn't provide a full list of breed restrictions. Call ahead before booking your site to ensure that your four-legged furred family will be welcome.
A trip to Florida just isn't complete with a visit to one of the magnificent beaches surrounding the peninsula, but what to do with Fido? Don't worry — Fort Lauderdale hosts a multitude of dog-friendly beaches, and you'll find many of them within 15 minutes of the Paradise Island RV Resort.
Try the Dog Swim at Snyder Park, Holiday Park Dog Park, or Canine Beach (only open to residents from Friday through Sunday). Be sure to pack lots of water to keep you and Fido hydrated. Don't forget the sunscreen — lack of shade in the RV park and on the beach is unhealthy for you and can be deadly to dogs.
Please note that all of the beaches have different rules and regulations in order for your woofer to safely play. Contact the beach ahead of time to double-check operating hours, admission fees, and pet rules.
After a day of exploring all Fort Lauderdale's dog-friendly attractions, there's no better place to kick back and relax than Paradise Island RV Park.
