Description

Picabo Angler RV Park is an RV park in the south-central Idaho town of Picabo. A full-service fishing supply and fly shop, the Picabo Angler, is across the street from the RV park. A cafe, gas station, general store, and airport are all located in the same area as the park and shop.

The famous Silver Creek is within walking distance from the property. Enjoyed by prominent figures such as Ernest Hemingway and renowned for its variety of trout species, the creek is the ultimate destination for fly-fishing fanatics. If you don’t fish, there is a hunting reserve a few miles away, as well as deer, antelope, and elk to observe in their natural habitat.

Rates for nightly stays in the RV sites start at $25. There isn’t an area for tent camping. Each site has its own picnic table and fire pit for personal use. While the campground itself only features the most basic amenities, you can find everything else you might need across the street or in town, a short drive from the park.

The Picabo Angler RV Park is pet-friendly, but be sure to keep Fido on a leash so there’s not an unexpected dip in the stream that runs through the property. There are hiking trails within walking distance of the campground, and your dog will pawsitively love bounding along the trees.

A small, quiet farming town, Picabo offers many outdoor activities. The Silver Creek Preserve is a unique spring creek in a desert climate and offers guided tours of the wildlife living on the preserve. At 6,000 feet above sea level, the Craters of the Moon National Monument is a must-see geological wonder. The residue of the regions once-active volcanoes are visually present and astounding.

If you’re a fly-fishing enthusiast traveling through central Idaho, take the bait and spend the night at the Picabo Angler RV Park.
