Pikes Ridge

Pikes Ridge is a forested series of sites found in northern Kentucky, containing several amenities related to fishing and boating.

A total of 59 sites populate Pikes Ridge campground. 20 of these sites offer water and electrical connections for $21, while the remaining sites contain only the typical amenities such as a fire ring and picnic table. Quite a few of these sites have waterfront views, so make sure to call ahead if you're looking to reserve one. For overnight visitors with canines, make sure they're spending the evening on a leash and indoors, as well as keeping clear of the bathroom and shower facilities located here.

Pikes Ridge Campground lies on the shores of the Green River Lake, which makes it an excellent place for camping with a boat. The areas offer a boat ramp and courtesy dock that are free for guests who have paid their overnight fees. Make sure your boat's registration is up-to-date, along with your boating license before bringing your vessel to the waterfront.

A fishing pier is provided here as well, so any overnight visitors who are fans of the sport can try their luck at the walleye, crappie, catfish, and multiple additional species that populate these waters. If you're coming to fish, make sure you bring your rod and reel, as rental services are noticeably absent. Dogs are allowed on the fishing pier as long as they're leashed up and not bothering other guests.

A few miles of scenic trails wrap around the area and are a great place to walk your canine while you catch some of the sights. Make sure that you pick up any waste that Fido may leave behind so that you don't disturb other hikers.
