The quiet Pine Crest RV Park in Slidell, Louisiana, is furrific place for dog families to lay their heads after a long night of partying in the heart of Creole country. Just 30 minutes from the historic French Quarter, this park is a haven of rest for weary travelers without the hoodoo pricing that their competitors practice! The Good Sam Club lists Pinecrest RV Park as the best park in the New Orleans area, giving it a near pawfect rating! The quiet atmosphere, brand-new laundry facilities, and clean bathhouses make the resort a top pick for those who want to experience the Big Easy.

Just because Nola is the party capital of the South doesn't mean it has no family appeal! Parents and children love this campground as well since it is proximal to many fun (and educational!) attractions, including the World War II D-Day History Museum, the Audobon Zoo and Aquarium, and swamp tour exhibitions!

Your four-legged kids will love the grassy sites and forested setting that Pine Crest offers (seriously, who wants to walk barefoot on gravel? Not your precious pooch!). There are some breed restrictions, so call ahead to make sure your dog is allowed to camp out, too. As with any campground, respect the property by cleaning up after your dog and keeping them leashed when outside of your motorhome.

You can't come to "N'awlins" without doing a little gambling, and lucky for you high rollers, the resort is only a half-hour drive from the gulf coast casinos. Your big winnings will surely come in handy when that post-win hunger strikes, but you won't have any trouble finding some tasty vittles in the seafood capital of the South! The smells from Bourbon Street alone will have both humans and canines watering at the mouth!

Spots go quickly here, especially during Mardi Gras. Don't wait until Fat Tuesday to try to make plans; seal the deal today! Crawfish, king cakes, and fun on the Bayou are awaiting you!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
